WTI's Recertification Philosophy

In an industry where technology continues to improve, enabling companies to search further and deeper for energy reserves, it's no secret that equipment is placed under higher demand to perform at peak performance. To help maintain the safety and integrity of our equipment we recommend yearly recertification for all of our rigging and slickline sheaves, as well as all other lifting equipment.

Our recertification program offers you the security of knowing that your equipment is in good working condition and that no unforeseen problem goes unnoticed. All sheaves sent in for recertification are fully inspected and assessed upon arrival, pull-tested and non-destructive (NDT) tested/inspected, then reassembled with several new parts, repacked with new grease, and finally reassembled and inspected under the same QC standards as a new sheave.

All sheaves sent in for annual recertification will receive all manufacturer updates at no additional charge. WTI maintains all updated records at our facility to ensure full trace-ability of all load-bearing components.

Depending on your location lead times for recertifications are 2-4 weeks.
